JOB DESCRIPTION & EMPLOYMENT TERMS

Job Title:** Factory Security Guard / Watchman

**Location:** Surat, Gujarat

**Department:** Security & Operations

**Shift / Hours:** [8 Hours / 12 Hours]

**Reports To:** Factory Manager / Owner

**Salary Range:** ₹12,000 - ₹18,000 (Based on Shift)

1. Key Responsibilities

A. Worker Checking & Discipline

* **Bag Checking:** Strictly inspect the bags of every worker and staff member leaving the factory to ensure no company material is taken out without authorization.

Body Checking:Conduct personal physical checking (frisking) of workers at the gate whenever necessary.

Discipline Maintenance: Prevent unnecessary crowding, arguments, or indiscipline at the main factory gate.

B. Register & Record Maintenance

Worker Movement: Accurately log the exact timing of when a worker leaves and returns to the factory in the In/Out Register.

Visitor Entry:Note down the name, mobile number, purpose of visit, and timing of all outside individuals (Vendors, Guests, Contractors) in the visitor log.

C. Material & Delivery Verification

Box Counting: Physically count all incoming or outgoing boxes/cartons from the delivery vehicles.

Challan Matching: Verify that the number of loaded or unloaded boxes perfectly matches the quantity stated on the delivery challan or invoice.

Vehicle Log: Record the vehicle number, driver's name, and contact details for all material transport vehicles.

2. Requirements & Skills

Education:Minimum 10th or 12th pass (to ensure capability to read delivery challans and maintain registers properly).

Language: Good understanding and ability to read, write, and speak Hindi and Gujarati.

Age Limit: Between 25 to 45 years (physically active and alert individual).

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of security experience in a factory or commercial unit is mandatory.

*Nature:Completely honest, punctual, and maintaining a strict demeanor during duty hours.

4. Terms & Conditions

Unnecessary use of mobile phones or attending to personal work during duty hours is strictly prohibited.

The factory gate must never be left unattended or without a guard under any circumstances.

In case of any suspicious activity or delivery mismatch (e.g., short boxes on a challan), the Factory Manager must be informed immediately.
