Job Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the girls' hostel.

• Ensure the safety, security, discipline, and well-being of all residents.

• Maintain hostel attendance, entry/exit records, and other registers.

• Monitor hostel cleanliness, hygiene, and basic facilities.

• Handle student concerns, complaints, and emergencies professionally.

• Coordinate with parents/guardians and management when required.

• Enforce hostel rules, timings, and code of conduct.

• Supervise housekeeping and other hostel support staff.

• Report any incidents, maintenance issues, or disciplinary concerns to management.

• Organize and monitor daily routines, study hours, meals, and hostel activities.

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for girls.

• Ability to handle emergencies calmly.

• Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping skills.

• Good discipline and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with staff.

Qualification

Graduate preferred. Candidates with relevant hostel/residential management experience will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Female candidate preferred.

• Prior experience as a hostel warden, residential supervisor, counsellor, teacher, or similar role is an advantage.

• Should be comfortable staying in/working at the hostel if required.
