Key Responsibilities & Duties
Surveillance & Patrol: Regularly walk or drive through assigned areas (interior/exterior) to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access.
Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits, verify employee/visitor identification, and manage parking, maintaining a log of activity

Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances; call law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
Safety Monitoring: Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure; monitor cameras and alarm systems.
Reporting: Document daily activities, inspections, and any unusual occurrences or safety hazards in detailed, accurate reports.
Rule Enforcement: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, which may involve detaining or removing violators.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education/Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent; security training certifications are often required.
Licenses: Valid state-issued security guard license or card.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift, and work in various weather conditions.
Skills: High level of alertness, strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in basic technology (cameras, security systems).
Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
