Key responsibilities
Monitoring and patrolling: Patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions. Monitor security cameras and alarm systems.
Access control: Check the identification of personnel and visitors to control entry and exit.
Incident response: Investigate suspicious behavior, handle security breaches, and report any incidents like property damage or unauthorized persons.
Reporting: Write daily activity reports and detailed reports on any security irregularities.
Equipment management: Operate and maintain security equipment, such as two-way radios and scanning devices.
Supervision: Assist in supervising security guards, managing their duties, and ensuring adherence to protocols.
Policy implementation: Help implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
Emergency assistance: Assist in emergency situations, sometimes by administering first aid, and coordinate with external agencies like police or firefighters when needed.
