Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage and execute the complete tendering process for government, institutional, and private sector projects. The candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing bids, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of documents to secure business opportunities for the company.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
Search and monitor tender portals such as GeM, CPPP, state portals, and private procurement platforms.
Identify relevant tenders related to solar EPC, rooftop solar, batteries, inverters, and renewable energy projects.
Download tender documents and analyze eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
Prepare and submit EOI, RFQ, RFP, and tender responses within deadlines.
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare all required documents such as company profiles, technical datasheets, certifications, declarations, EMD, bid security, and price bids.
Ensure compliance with tender terms and conditions.
Coordinate with finance, legal, production, and sales teams for necessary approvals and supporting documents.
Maintain records of submitted tenders, status reports, and contract documentation.
Bid Coordination
Liaise with vendors, consultants, and government departments regarding clarifications and bid queries.
Attend pre-bid meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
Track tender results, L1 status, and award notifications.
Follow up for purchase orders, agreements, and project handover after bid win.
Market & Business Support
Analyze competitor participation and pricing trends.
Support management in expanding business through public and institutional tenders.
Maintain database of upcoming opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Com, BA, B.Tech preferred).
Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or Business Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in tendering, bid management, or government sales.
Experience in solar, electrical, EPC, or manufacturing industry preferred.
Freshers with strong documentation and analytical skills may also apply.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of tendering process and procurement systems.
Familiarity with GeM, CPPP, and e-tender portals.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
Good command of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
Negotiation and analytical skills.
