JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Store Sales Executive for a premium lighting boutique, specialising in commercial

and decorative lighting solutions. The role involves customer engagement, product demonstration, solution-based

selling, and driving sales conversions while ensuring an exceptional in-store experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet, assist, and guide walk-in customers, understanding their lighting needs for residential, commercial, or

décor projects.

• Demonstrate lighting products, including commercial fixtures, decorative lights, architectural lighting, and smart

lighting solutions.

• Provide expert advice on lighting design, wattage, colour temperatures, fixtures, and installation compatibility.

• Manage customer queries, recommend suitable products, and offer customised lighting solutions.

• Maintain product displays, ensure proper lighting arrangements, and update new arrivals.

• Coordinate with the backend team for stock updates, pricing, and order processing.

• Prepare quotations, follow up with customers, and convert leads into sales.

• Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, and project clients.

• Handle billing, invoicing, and basic documentation related to sales.

• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to store revenue.

• Maintain cleanliness, visual merchandising, and overall store ambience.

• Manage post-sales support, including addressing installation or product-related queries.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a lighting boutique, specifically in commercial and decorative lighting.

• Strong product knowledge—fixtures, lumen output, drivers, colour rendering, and lighting applications.

• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

• Ability to understand client requirements and offer technical suggestions.

• Good salesmanship with the ability to close deals.

• Basic computer skills (MS Office, billing software).

• Presentable, proactive, and target-oriented
