Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer – Solar Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Senior Sales Engineer to lead business development and revenue growth for our solar projects division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating high-value leads, closing projects, and building long-term client relationships across commercial and industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities (C&I / Institutional / Industrial clients)

• Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions

• Prepare proposals, quotations, and handle commercial negotiations

• Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

• Coordinate with technical and project teams for seamless execution

• Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies

• Lead and mentor junior sales executives, if applicable

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Monthly revenue achievement

• Project closure ratio

• Average deal size

• New client acquisition

• Repeat business generation

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Proven track record in B2B or project sales

• Understanding of solar, electrical, or EPC industry preferred

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to handle high-value deals independently

• Strategic thinking with strong execution capability

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Commerce, or Management preferred)

• MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage
