Senior Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding various educational programs.

• Convert qualified leads into successful admissions through effective counselling.

• Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable courses.

• Conduct counselling sessions via phone calls, video meetings, and face-to-face interactions.

• Follow up with leads regularly and maintain a healthy conversion ratio.

• Handle inquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, and walk-ins.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.

• Meet monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.

• Coordinate with the admissions, operations, and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.

• Build strong relationships with prospective students and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong counselling, negotiation, and sales abilities.

• Ability to understand customer needs and provide suitable solutions.

• Target-driven with a proven record of achieving sales goals.

• Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.

• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in EdTech sales, academic counselling, or admission counselling is mandatory.

• Experience in handling inbound and outbound counselling calls.

• Comfortable working from the Mumbai office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with online learning platforms, universities, coaching institutes, or EdTech companies.

• Strong understanding of the education industry and admission processes.

• Ability to handle high lead volumes and achieve admission targets consistently.
