Job Overview: The Team Leader – Sales will act as a critical layer between sales executives and management, ensuring execution excellence on the ground while aligning team performance with business goals. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the candidate to be a doer, leader, guide, and mentor, actively driving numbers, tracking performance, and continuously analyzing results to improve outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Lead, mentor, and support sales executives to achieve individual and team targets.
•Act as a hands-on leader and doer, actively contributing to closures and key accounts.
•Drive sales numbers by tracking daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
•Analyse performance to understand what, why, and how to improve results.
•Build and maintain strong dealer, reseller, and distributor relationships.
•Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, CRM updates, and reporting discipline.
•Conduct joint market visits and support channel partner development.
•Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing and issue resolution.
•Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to support action plans.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
•3–6 years of experience in Channel Sales, Dealer/Distributor Management, or B2B Sales.
•Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team supervision or senior sales executive roles.
•Strong understanding of reseller/dealer network operations.
•Proven ability to meet sales targets and support team performance.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•Strong discipline in process management, reporting accuracy, and compliance with SOPs.
•Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred).
•Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
