Job Purpose:

To drive sales and market share of the company’s fertilizer products by building strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and farmers, while ensuring timely collection, market development, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for fertilizers in the assigned territory.

• Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers to expand the company’s network.

• Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and promotional activities to create demand.

• Provide technical guidance to farmers on the correct usage and benefits of fertilizers.

• Maintain strong relationships with channel partners (dealers, distributors, retailers) for smooth business operations.

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide timely feedback to management.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.

• Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and MIS to management.

• Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams for timely delivery of products.

• Support in branding, marketing campaigns, and participation in agri-exhibitions/fairs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Agri-Business / Science / Marketing (preferred B.Sc. Agriculture).

• 1–3 years of sales experience in agri-inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, seeds) preferred. Freshers with agriculture background may also apply.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Knowledge of local farming practices, crops, and soil management.

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.

• Willingness to travel extensively in rural and semi-urban areas.
