Sales Manager- Life Insurance

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented Sales Manager – Life Insurance to drive life insurance business. The candidate will be responsible for customer acquisition, relationship management, business development, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business for Life Insurance products through direct sales, references, networking, and existing customer relationships.

• Identify prospective customers and understand their insurance and financial protection requirements.

• Explain suitable life insurance products, features, benefits, and applicable terms to customers.

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

• Conduct customer meetings and regular follow-ups for business conversion.

• Generate leads through individual customers, professionals, SMEs, corporates, and referral networks.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, application processing, policy issuance, and customer servicing.

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipeline, and MIS reports.

• Generate repeat business and referrals through excellent customer service.

• Ensure all sales activities follow applicable company policies and regulatory guidelines.

The role may involve promoting suitable life insurance solutions, including:

• Term Insurance

• Savings Plans

• Protection Plans

• Retirement & Pension Plans

• Child Education Plans

• ULIPs

• Group Insurance Solutions

• Other approved Life Insurance products

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline.

• Experience in Life Insurance, Banking, NBFC, Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Direct Sales will be preferred.

• Candidates with experience in insurance sales and customer relationship management will have an advantage.

• Strong sales orientation and ability to achieve business targets.
