🎯 Target-Oriented Responsibilities
The Field Sales Manager must fulfill the following key responsibilities related to sales and revenue generation:
1. Sales Target Achievement
* Monthly/Quarterly Targets: Achieve the combined and individual Premium Targets set by the company for all three product lines: Motor Insurance (e.g., two-wheelers, four-wheelers), Health Insurance, and Life Insurance.
* Market Expansion: Actively plan and implement strategies to increase sales by reaching new markets and customers.
* Pipeline Management: Effectively track potential customers (Leads), manage the sales pipeline, and ensure timely closure of deals.
2. Team Management and Development
* Agent Recruitment: Actively recruit new Insurance Agents/Advisors in accordance with company policy and build a strong team.
* Target Allocation: Clearly allocate individual sales targets to each team member and provide guidance to ensure their achievement.
* Training: Provide regular training to agents on insurance products (Motor, Health, Life) and sales skills to enable them to perform effectively in the market.
* Performance Review: Regularly review agents' performance, resolve their issues, and motivate them for outstanding achievement.
3. Customer Relations and Quality
* Excellent Customer Service: Ensure agents provide accurate product information, transparent service, and assistance during claims to customers.
* Business Quality: Maintain a high renewal rate and ensure the overall Quality of Business (QoB).
📈 Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Essential Qualifications
* Education: Graduation in any stream is mandatory.
* Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales and Team Management in the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services sector.
* Insurance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of all three product lines: Motor, Health, and Life Insurance is essential.
2. Skills
* Excellent Communication: Proficiency in effective communication in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
* Leadership Ability: The capability to lead a team, motivate them, and guide them toward sales success.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
