Sales Manager

Overview

A Real Estate Sales Manager oversees the sales operations of a real estate brokerage or firm. They recruit, train, and manage agents, develop sales strategies, and ensure targets are achieved while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of real estate agents

• Set sales goals and monitor team performance against targets

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans

• Recruit, train, and onboard new agents

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback

• Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, and investors

• Oversee property listings, pricing strategies, and negotiations

• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and company policies

• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field (preferred)

• Proven experience in real estate sales (often 3–5+ years)

• Previous leadership or managerial experience

• Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Knowledge of local property markets and regulations

• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions

• Real estate license (required in most regions)
