We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager – Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth in academic consultancy services. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, a strategic mindset, and a strong track record in B2B/B2C sales, preferably in the education or services domain.
Lead & Manage Sales Team: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales executives and counselors.
Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to grow market presence.
Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead Generation: Oversee inbound/outbound lead generation and conversion optimization.
Performance Tracking: Analyze sales metrics, pipeline status, and reporting for senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies.
Process Improvement: Optimize the sales process to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Training & Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill the team.
CRM Management: Efficient use of CRM tools for pipeline and client management.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education or consulting sector.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage high-performing sales teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics platforms.
Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience in EdTech, academic consultancy, or higher education industry.
Understanding of PhD programs, research processes, and academic requirements.
