Job Title: Sales Manager – Agency Channel (Health Insurance)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sales Manager in a general insurance company to drive health insurance business through the agency channel. This is a purely field sales role involving extensive travel, agent recruitment, and on-ground sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, develop, and manage a network of insurance advisors/agents in the assigned territory.
Drive health insurance sales through the agency channel to achieve and exceed business targets.
Conduct field visits to support agents in lead generation, client meetings, and closures.
Identify and onboard high-potential agents through market mapping and local networking.
Ensure timely licensing, onboarding, and early activation of newly recruited agents.
Monitor agent productivity and provide continuous on-ground coaching and performance support.
Track daily field activities, sales performance, and maintain accurate MIS/reporting.
Key Requirements:
Experience in insurance/financial services sales, preferably in agency channel.
Strong field sales and team handling experience.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in a target-driven environment.
Good communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
