Job Title: Unit Head – Diagnostic Laboratory
Location: Raichur
Experience: 8–12 years (Healthcare/Diagnostics preferred)
Reports To: Regional/Corporate Head
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business & P&L Management
• Full responsibility of the unit’s Profit & Loss (P&L).
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability targets.
• Optimize operational costs while ensuring high-quality service.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial and business performance reports.
2. Sales & Marketing
• Drive daily sales targets and achieve monthly revenue goals.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives to promote diagnostic services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, and healthcare partners.
• Conduct customer engagement programs, medical camps, and promotional activities.
• Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
3. Operations Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the diagnostic unit.
• Ensure smooth functioning of laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic services.
• Maintain quality standards, accreditations, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage stock, procurement, and ensure timely availability of reagents and consumables.
4. Team Leadership & HR
• Lead, train, and motivate the laboratory and support staff.
• Set individual and team performance goals aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, customer service standards, and company policies.
• Build a high-performance culture with accountability and ownership.
5. Customer Service & Quality
• Ensure superior patient experience through quality service and quick turnaround times.
• Monitor customer feedback and address service-related issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for patient satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Life Sciences/Healthcare Management/Business Administration.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in healthcare/diagnostic sector with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, sales, and marketing in the healthcare space.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
