Job Description – Retail Manager (Mall Operations)

Position: Retail Manager

Location: Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Manage and oversee day-to-day retail operations of the mall

• Maximising sales of the franchisee stores.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with tenants/retailers to ensure smooth functioning and compliance with mall policies.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor store occupancy, sales performance, and customer footfall trends.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain strong tenant relationships and address operational issues promptly.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure high standards of customer service, cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation across the mall.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate promotional activities, events, and marketing initiatives to enhance footfall and sales.

•⁠ ⁠Liaise with security, housekeeping, maintenance, and other support teams for seamless operations.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor lease compliance and support management in tenant retention and leasing activities.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare periodic reports on operations, retailer performance, customer feedback, and revenue-related matters.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, safety norms, and company policies.

Qualification & Experience:

•⁠ ⁠Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠3–7 years of experience in retail management and franchisee stores.

•⁠ ⁠Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.

Reporting To: Mall Head / General Manager / Management

Objective: To maximize revenue, tenant satisfaction, enhance customer experience, and support the overall commercial performance of the mall.
