The Gold Jewellery Counter Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers in selecting gold and Silver jewellery, providing product information, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets while maintaining accuracy, trust, and showroom standards.
Greet customers warmly and understand their jewellery requirements
Explain gold & silver purity, weight, making charges, wastage, and pricing clearly
Assist customers in selecting gold, diamond, and precious jewellery
Build trust and long-term customer relationships
Achieve individual and counter sales targets
Handle gold jewellery carefully and responsibly
Maintain attractive and organized jewellery displays
Ensure correct tagging, labeling, and pricing of items
Follow showroom security and safety procedures
Prepare sales bills accurately as per company policy
Explain exchange, buy-back, and return policies to customers
Coordinate with billing and accounts teams for smooth transactions
Assist in stock verification and daily counter reconciliation
Report any discrepancies immediately to management
Support promotional offers, festive sales, and showroom events
Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
Experience: 1–5 years in gold jewellery retail sales (preferred)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of gold purity (22K, 18K), diamonds, and gemstones
Strong customer-handling and persuasion skills
Honest, well-groomed, and trustworthy
Experience working in branded jewellery showrooms
Ability to work on weekends and during festival seasons
Target-oriented and customer-focused attitude
