### Role Overview

We are seeking Junior and Senior Commodity Traders who are enthusiastic, market-aware, and commercially sharp. The role involves end-to-end participation in the trade lifecycle — from market analysis and deal structuring to execution and relationship management.

### Key Responsibilities

• Track global commodity markets, price movements, and fundamentals

• Identify trading opportunities across soft & hard commodities

• Execute physical trades and support deal negotiations

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, brokers, and logistics partners

• Coordinate with internal teams on contracts, documentation, and execution

• Manage risk exposure and support hedging strategies where applicable

• For senior roles: contribute to trading strategy, book growth, and junior team mentoring

### Candidate Profile

Junior Commodity Trader

• 1–3 years of experience in commodity trading, broking, or market research

• Strong interest and foundational knowledge of commodity markets

• Good analytical skills and eagerness to learn

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

Senior Commodity Trader

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in physical commodity trading

• Proven trade execution and counterparty management experience

• Strong understanding of global supply chains and pricing mechanisms

• Ability to independently handle trade books and close deals

### Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Agri commodities, or Metals

• Understanding of INCOTERMS, trade finance, and logistics

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Commercial mindset with high energy and ownership

• Willingness to work with international time zones

• 50% traveling- when required
