Job Title: Field Sales Engineer – Valves

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically sound Field Sales Engineer with experience in industrial valves and flow control systems. The candidate will be responsible for generating business, managing key accounts, and providing technical solutions to clients across industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, fire protection, HVAC, and process industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and expand sales of industrial valves (Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, Butterfly, Control Valves, PRVs, etc.)

- Identify new business opportunities and generate inquiries from consultants, contractors, and end users

- Visit customer sites and understand application requirements

- Provide product selection support based on pressure, temperature, and service conditions

- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and follow up for order closure

- Build and maintain strong client relationships

- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and support

- Achieve sales targets

- Track competitor activities and market trends

- Maintain sales and visit reports

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- 2–6 years experience in valve or industrial sales preferred

- Knowledge of valve types and standards (API, ANSI, DIN, IBR)

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills:

- EPC / project sales experience

- Knowledge of fire systems / PRVs / control valves

- Tendering and specification understanding
