Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Engineer with experience in the construction and manufacturing industry. The candidate should be capable of generating leads, understanding technical requirements, and effectively converting prospects into customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research and networking
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations
Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, production, and operations)
Follow up on leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Attend site visits, client meetings, and industry events
Track market trends and competitor activities
Required Skills:
Strong lead generation and prospecting skills
Excellent communication and convincing (negotiation) skills
Basic technical understanding of construction/manufacturing products
Ability to handle client queries and provide solutions
Good presentation and interpersonal skills
Target-oriented and self-motivated
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil preferred) or related field
Preferred:
Experience in B2B sales
Knowledge of CRM tools
Experience in handling project-based sales
