Job description:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer for our Kolkata location to handle client relationships, generate business opportunities, and promote industrial products in the market. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical understanding, communication skills, and sales coordination abilities. Candidates having strong industry contacts across Eastern and North Eastern regions will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities and manage existing client relationships
Develop and maintain strong business contacts across Eastern and North Eastern companies
Conduct client visits, product presentations, and technical discussions
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions
Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and close sales orders
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and delivery updates
Maintain regular communication with customers regarding products and services
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Develop market knowledge and identify potential business areas
Prepare sales reports and maintain customer data records
Handle after-sales coordination and customer support activities
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
Strong network and contacts with companies across Eastern and North Eastern regions
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong technical understanding and customer handling ability
Ability to travel for client meetings and business development activities
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication
