Job Title: Sales Engineer – OEM Sales (Automation Products)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to drive OEM sales of industrial automation products. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with OEM customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new OEM customers for automation products.
Promote and sell products such as PLCs, HMIs, Servo Systems, VFDs, Sensors, Industrial PCs, and Motion Control solutions.
Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable automation solutions.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Coordinate with the application/technical team for solution development.
Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with OEM design teams.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Ensure timely payment collection from customers.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in OEM sales of automation products.
Strong knowledge of industrial automation components and systems.
Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with machine builders and panel builders.
Knowledge of industrial networks (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
CRM handling experience.
