Role Summary:
The Mechanical Sales Coordinator will act as a bridge between customers, sales team, and production/service departments. The role involves handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, managing orders, and ensuring smooth coordination for timely delivery and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Relationship Management
· Handle customer inquiries and respond to technical and commercial queries
· Maintain relationships with existing clients and follow up with potential leads
· Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams
2. Quotation & Sales Support
· Prepare and share quotations with support from the technical team
· Follow up on quotations and convert leads into orders
· Assist the sales team in achieving targets
3. Order Management
· Process customer orders and update them in ERP/CRM systems
· Confirm order details, specifications, and delivery timelines
· Coordinate with production for timely execution
· Track dispatch and ensure on-time delivery
4. Payment Follow-up
· Coordinate with customers for payment collection
· Track outstanding payments and update records
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
· Act as a link between sales, production, service, and dispatch teams
· Coordinate installation and servicing schedules with service engineers
· Ensure smooth communication between departments
6. Sales Analytics & Reporting
· Maintain customer database and sales records
· Prepare sales reports, MIS, and performance tracking
· Analyze customer data and identify new opportunities
7. Administrative & CRM Management
· Maintain CRM system and customer records
· Schedule meetings and manage communication
· Prepare sales presentations, brochures, and documents
8. After-Sales Support
· Provide support to customers post-delivery
· Handle service requests and coordinate with service team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
· Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination / sales support (preferably in manufacturing industry)
Technical Skills:
· Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
· Knowledge of ERP 9 systems
· Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
Core Skills:
· Strong communication and customer handling skills
· Good organizational and multitasking ability
