Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, educating customers about solar energy solutions, providing quotes, and closing sales. The role requires strong communication skills, sales experience, and a good understanding of solar systems and incentives in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on solar sales leads (online, referrals, door-to-door, or appointments).

• Conduct customer consultations to understand energy needs and usage.

• Explain solar system benefits, savings, and government incentives (STCs, rebates, etc.).

• Recommend suitable solar system designs and solutions.

• Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers.

• Close sales and complete necessary paperwork.

• Coordinate with the operations team for installations.

• Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.

• Keep records of sales activities and report to management.

• Stay updated on solar industry trends, products, and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in solar sales, electrical sales, or related field (preferred).

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to explain technical information in simple terms.

• Customer-focused and professional attitude.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Basic understanding of solar systems, inverters, and batteries (preferred).
