• Regional Sales Manager - Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed regional sales and revenue goals set by the company.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers/Sales Executives across the region.

• Business Development: Identify and onboard new clients, distributors, and channel partners. Strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.

• Market Analysis: Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences to identify opportunities.

• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales plans and go-to-market strategies in alignment with company objectives.

• Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare accurate weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for senior management.

• Customer Relationship Management: Handle key accounts, resolve escalated customer issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

• Budget Management: Manage regional sales budget, expenses, and ensure maximum ROI on sales activities.

• Coordination: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Qualifications & Skills Required:Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

• Experience: 5-8 years of progressive sales experience with at least 2-3 years in a team-handling role.

• Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and CRM software like Salesforce.

• Other: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. Knowledge of regional language is a plus.

Compensation: Typically ranges from 20k to 40k+ performance incentives, depending on industry and experience.
