Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth, acquire new customers, and expand business opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Generation & Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by promoting IT products and services and identifying new business opportunities for sustainable revenue growth.
2. New Customer Acquisition
Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and referrals. Convert prospects into long-term customers by understanding requirements and offering tailored IT solutions.
3. Order Conversion & Deal Size Enhancement
Improve conversion ratio through effective follow-ups, strong proposal presentations, and negotiation skills. Increase average deal size through upselling, cross-selling, and solution-based selling.
4. Client Relationship & Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication, issue resolution, and strategic account management to drive repeat business.
5. Pipeline Development & Forecasting
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure accurate CRM updates. Track opportunities from lead stage to closure and provide reliable sales forecasting for business planning.
6. Reporting & Discipline
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Maintain proper documentation, ensure CRM accuracy, and follow company policies and sales processes strictly.
7. Channel Partner Development
Identify and develop channel partners, consultants, and alliances to expand market reach and generate additional revenue opportunities.
8. Payment Collection & Coordination
Follow up for timely payment collections in coordination with finance and clients. Ensure smooth closure of commercial terms and maintain healthy cash flow.
9. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Share insights with management to support strategic decision-making and business improvement.
10. Team Collaboration & Brand Engagement
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, delivery, support) for smooth execution of client requirements. Actively participate in social media engagement and employer branding activities.
Skills & Requirements:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Good understanding of IT sales / B2B sales (preferred)
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-oriented
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
1–5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales (IT industry preferred)
