📌 Area Manager – Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations of multiple stores/outlets within the assigned area.

• Ensure smooth functioning, standard processes, and compliance with company SOPs.

• Monitor store hygiene, safety, and operational standards.

2. Sales & Revenue Management

• Achieve monthly sales targets for all stores in the region.

• Analyze sales performance and develop strategies to increase revenue.

• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and business growth.

3. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Manage Store Managers and staff across locations.

• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.

• Ensure adequate staffing, scheduling, and manpower planning.

4. Customer Experience

• Maintain high customer service standards across all stores.

• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure quick resolution.

• Conduct customer experience audits and implement improvements.

5. Inventory & Store Management

• Monitor stock levels, ordering, shrinkage, and damage control.

• Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment.

• Implement cost-control measures to reduce operational waste.

6. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

• Prepare and present area performance reports to senior management.

• Monitor P&L, budgets, expenses, and operational KPIs.

7. Training & Development

• Train new joiners and upskill existing staff.

• Conduct regular meetings and workshops for store teams.

• Promote discipline, teamwork, and work ethics.

8. Store Visit & Audits

• Conduct regular field visits to all stores.

• Check store performance, display standards, manpower, and customer flow.

• Implement corrective measures immediately.
