Gold Loan Executive / Relationship Manager – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Gold Appraisal & Valuation

Check purity (karat) of gold ornaments

Calculate accurate weight (net weight after stone deduction)

Ensure correct loan amount based on value

2. Gold Verification & Safety

Identify fake or impure gold

Avoid accepting damaged or non-acceptable ornaments

Handle gold safely and follow security procedures

3. Customer Handling

Explain gold loan schemes, interest rates, and repayment

Build good relationship with customers

Resolve customer queries clearly

4. Documentation & KYC

Collect and verify KYC documents (Aadhar, PAN, etc.)

Complete customer onboarding process

Maintain proper records as per company policy

5. Loan Processing

Process gold loan applications quickly

Ensure compliance with company and RBI guidelines

Disburse loan after proper verification

6. Recovery & Follow-up

Remind customers for interest/EMI payments

Handle overdue accounts and follow recovery process

7. Sales & Targets

Achieve monthly loan disbursement targets

Cross-sell other financial products if needed
