Job Description: Relationship Manager – B2B Sales

Location: Kolkata / East India

Job Purpose

To drive Credit Life Insurance business through the assigned banking partner by building strong relationships with bank officials, generating business opportunities, ensuring effective lead conversion, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development: Drive Credit Life Insurance sales through the assigned banking partner and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, Area Sales Managers, and other key bank stakeholders.

- Sales & Lead Conversion: Work closely with bank teams to identify eligible loan customers and convert business opportunities into insurance policies.

- Product Promotion: Promote Credit Life Insurance solutions across various loan segments, including Loan Against Property (LAP), Home Finance, Business Loans, Working Capital, and other eligible lending products.

- Joint Customer Meetings: Conduct joint calls and customer meetings with bank officials to improve product penetration and business conversion.

- Sales Activation: Drive regular engagement with bank branches through product presentations, sales campaigns, training sessions, and performance reviews.

- Business Tracking & MIS: Monitor daily business performance, maintain sales pipelines, track pending cases, and submit timely business updates and reports.

- Case Management: Coordinate with underwriting, operations, medical, and issuance teams to ensure smooth processing and timely policy issuance.

- Customer Service: Address customer queries, resolve operational issues, and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the insurance journey.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, sales processes, and ethical selling practices.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.

- Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, banking, or relationship management may be considered.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and sales skills.

- Ability to achieve business targets and work effectively with banking partners.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and business MIS is preferred.
