Job Overview
The Estimation Engineer – Sales is responsible for managing price lists, vendor quotations, and preparing and submitting tenders and quotations to potential clients. The role requires a strong understanding of customer requirements and solid technical knowledge of Security and Safety Systems. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate commercial proposals to drive B2B sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Understand the complete B2B sales process related to Security & Safety Systems, including stakeholders involved in RFPs or tenders.
• Prepare quotations and manage all necessary documentation for proposal submission.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor quotes and updated price lists.
• Keep CRM systems updated with lead and sales opportunity details.
Possess sound technical understanding of the following systems:
• Enterprise Security Systems
• Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression Systems
• Barrier-Based Systems
• Security Integration Solutions
• Parking Management Systems
• Electronic Locks
• Server Room Protection Systems
• Coordinate with internal technical teams for clarifications and ensure timely receipt of vendor quotations.
• Represent and promote the Bion brand professionally across all engagements.
• Archive and manage all proposal-related documents systematically.
• Follow up for approvals on quotations to ensure timely submission.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product developments by attending seminars, demos, and training sessions.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and represent the company in customer interactions.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in estimation or sales in B2B Security and Safety Solutions.
Technical Skills:
• Experience in commercial and government tendering processes.
• Knowledge of Safety and Security Solution Products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
