Job Title: Operations Assistant – Sales Department

Location: Tambaram, Chennai

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹22,000 per month

Reporting To: Sales Manager & Managing Director (MD)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Operations Assistant to support the Sales Department in coordinating day-to-day operations. The candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager and Managing Director to ensure smooth sales operations, documentation, reporting, and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in daily operational activities.

• Coordinate with the sales team on quotations, orders, follow-ups, and documentation.

• Maintain sales records, reports, and MIS.

• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts departments for timely order execution.

• Handle customer communication and maintain proper documentation.

• Perform basic accounting activities and maintain records using Tally.

• Prepare operational reports and update management regularly.

• Support the Managing Director with sales-related operational tasks.

• Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the management.

Eligibility

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any of the following:

  • Civil Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Commerce / Accounts (B.Com, M.Com, BBA or equivalent)

• Freshers with good aptitude or candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of Accounts and Tally preferred.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Email.

• Good communication skills in English and Tamil.

• Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada will be an added advantage.

• Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.

• Must own a two-wheeler.

• Four-wheeler license preferred.

• Willing to travel locally whenever required.

• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

• Candidates residing in and around Tambaram will be given preference.

Salary

₹17,000 – ₹22,000 per month (Based on qualifications, skills, and experience)
