Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments.

• Prepare quotations, invoices, shipping documents and airway bills.

• Coordinate with courier partners, airlines, freight forwarders and transporters.

• Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers.

• Resolve shipment issues and customer queries promptly.

• Maintain shipment records and MIS reports.

• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

• Coordinate with customs agents whenever required.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and service standards.

Sales & Business Development

• Generate new business through cold calling, field visits, references and digital platforms.

• Visit industrial areas and corporate offices to acquire new customers.

• Build long-term relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and SMEs.

• Prepare and follow up on quotations.

• Convert enquiries into confirmed business.

• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

• Maintain customer database and CRM records.

• Upsell additional logistics and travel services to existing customers.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong negotiation and convincing ability.

• Customer-centric approach.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Email.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Positive attitude with willingness to learn.

• Knowledge of logistics, courier or freight forwarding will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline.

• MBA (Marketing/Operations), BBA, B.Com or Logistics qualification preferred.

• Strong customer service mindset.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Professional appearance and behaviour.

• Two-wheeler with valid driving licence will be an added advantage for field sales.
