About the Role
We are hiring a Market Research Analyst to own our competitive intelligence and prospecting function. You will independently map the B2B and B2C diamond trade landscape — identifying key players, uncovering prospective clients, and generating actionable research that fuels our business development pipeline.
This is a commercially critical role. Your work will directly shape who we pursue, how we position ourselves, and where we grow next.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end market research across B2B segments (trade houses, manufacturers, exporters) and B2C segments (jewellery brands, luxury retailers, e-commerce players)
Identify and qualify prospective clients using Gemini Deep Research, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and trade publications
Build and maintain a live, organised database of prospects segmented by client type, geography, and priority
Conduct in-depth competitor analysis — tracking positioning, pricing, partnerships, and client focus
Produce weekly and monthly research briefs and market intelligence reports for leadership and the BD team
Monitor trade events, industry news, and macroeconomic trends relevant to the diamond and luxury sector
Collaborate with the business development team to translate research into targeted outreach strategies
Requirements
Proficient with research tools: LinkedIn, Gemini Deep Research, trade directories, Crunchbase, AI tools and similar platforms
Strong analytical thinking — can connect dots across disparate data sources and extract clear insights
Excellent written communication; can produce polished, concise research reports independently
Highly organised with experience managing prospect databases or CRM-like systems
Prior exposure to the diamond trade, gems, jewellery, or luxury goods is a significant advantage
