A Jewellery Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales within a showroom or B2B environment by providing exceptional customer service, showcasing product knowledge, and managing client relationships. They act as the face of the brand, guiding customers in selecting gold, diamond, or gemstone jewelry.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Generation & Customer Service: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized recommendations to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Product Knowledge: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of jewelry types, gemstone quality, metal purity, and market trends to effectively answer customer queries.
Showroom Maintenance & Display: Ensuring the showroom is clean, organized, and that products are displayed attractively to entice customers.
Inventory Management: Participating in daily stock checks, managing opening and closing stock records for their designated section, and assisting in inventory replenishment.
Transactional Duties: Processing sales transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems, handling cash/card payments, and preparing invoices.
Client Relationship Management: Building rapport with customers to encourage repeat business, following up on leads, and handling complaints professionally.
Security & Compliance: Ensuring the safety of jewelry displayed to customers and adhering to store policies.
B2B/Field Specific Tasks: Identifying potential B2B clients, visiting retailers, and building long-term business relationships in assigned territories.
Key Skills & Requirements
Experience: Previous retail experience (1-3 years), preferably in jewelry or luxury goods.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in local languages.
Soft Skills: Strong sales techniques, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.
