• Product expertise: Understand the technical features of IT products and services to effectively explain their value and how they meet client needs.

• Sales strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.

• Negotiation and closing: Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts and service renewals, and close sales deals.

• Market analysis: Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay current on emerging technologies.

• Administrative tasks: Maintain a database of client information and complete other administrative tasks as needed. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Technical aptitude and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM software is often required.

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field (like Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience is often preferred.

• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
