Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer with proven experience in inside sales to support business growth and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the banking and insurance industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to convert leads into successful business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and convert leads through inside sales channels (calls, emails, virtual meetings).

• Promote and sell banking and insurance products/services to prospective customers.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable financial or insurance solutions.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.

• Coordinate with internal teams (operations, underwriting, support) to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

• Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in inside sales or business development.

• Prior experience in the banking or insurance industry is mandatory.

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing or Finance preferred).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to persuade, negotiate, and close sales effectively.

• Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

• Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment.
