Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and process critical pre- and post-shipment documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading / Airway Bills, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Entry.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with customs procedures, FEMA, DGFT guidelines, and trade regulations. Handle documentation for Letters of Credit (LC) and bank trade finance.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, Customs House Agents (CHAs), and transporters for bookings and seamless clearance.
Digital Filings: Manage portals like ICEGATE, e-SANCHIT, and generate E-way bills when required.
Tracking & Reporting: Track shipment timelines, resolve documentation discrepancies, and maintain accurate internal MIS reports.
Requirements
Education: Graduate degree in Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or a related discipline. A diploma in Import-Export Management is a strong plus.
Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in EXIM documentation and international trade operations.
Key Skills: In-depth knowledge of Incoterms; proficiency in MS Excel and EXIM software (like Visual Impex, Logi-sys, or SAP ERP); strong written and verbal English communication skills.
