Import Executive

We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Import Executive to manage the company’s import operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will coordinate with international suppliers, manage import documentation, ensure timely customs clearance, and facilitate smooth delivery of imported goods to our warehouse.

______________Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with foreign suppliers regarding orders, trades, and shipment details.

• Handle import administrative tasks, including placing orders, opening Letter of Credits, scheduling shipments, and maintaining import documentation.

• Coordinate with Customs House Agents for filing Bills of Entry and clearing materials efficiently.

• Manage RODTEP and ROSCTL licenses for duty benefits and ensure their optimal utilization.

• Maintain accurate registers for unutilized licenses and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Arrange suitable transportation for moving imported goods from port to the warehouse in Bhiwandi.

• Keep the Sales Department updated on incoming material schedules.

• Manage payments for outstanding LCs and ensure proper closure of Bills of Entry in IDPMS.

______________Required Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

• Basic IT knowledge for documentation and coordination purposes.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling import documentation and schedules.

______________Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.

• Prior experience in import operations or logistics is a must
