Horticultrist supervisor

Position:

Horticulturist Supervisor

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or garden maintenance.

• Experience in residential townships, parks, commercial landscapes, or real estate projects will be preferred.
  

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or a related field.
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must own a two-wheeler (bike) with a valid driving license.

• Good knowledge of ornamental plants, trees, shrubs, lawns, and seasonal flowers.

• Ability to supervise on-site horticulture operations and guide the gardening team.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor the health of plants, lawns, trees, and landscaped areas.

• Identify suitable plants based on climate, soil conditions, sunlight, and environmental requirements.

• Develop and implement watering, fertilization, pruning, and seasonal maintenance schedules.

• Recommend and monitor the appropriate use of pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.

• Diagnose plant diseases, pest infestations, and nutrient deficiencies, and recommend corrective measures.

• Guide the gardening team on proper planting, transplantation, irrigation, and maintenance techniques.

• Plan seasonal plantation and landscape enhancement activities.

• Monitor irrigation systems and ensure efficient water management.

• Coordinate the procurement of plants, fertilizers, pesticides, and horticultural materials.

• Ensure landscaped areas remain healthy, aesthetically appealing, and well maintained.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of plant species, soil health, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and pest management.

• Ability to identify plant care requirements based on sunlight, weather, and environmental conditions.

Preferred Candidate:

• Resident of Lucknow

• Experience in township, commercial, or real estate landscaping projects will be an added advantage.
