Gold Loan Relationship Officer_LOANS AGAINST GOLD_0405_7451_1095367 Role Purpose To acquire, service, and retain gold loan customers while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines. The role focuses on business generation, customer relationship management, and smooth processing of gold loan transactions. Key Responsibilities Source new gold loan business through branch walk-ins, referrals, and local market activities. Generate leads and achieve allocated business targets. Explain gold loan products, interest rates, repayment options, and related services to customers. Conduct preliminary verification of customer documents and KYC requirements. Coordinate valuation and processing of pledged gold as per company guidelines. Ensure timely disbursement and end-to-end management of gold loan cases. Manage renewals, repayments, top-ups, and customer retention activities. Follow up with customers for overdue accounts and collections. Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer queries promptly. Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance. Prepare and maintain necessary reports and documentation. Required Skills Strong sales and customer relationship management skills. Good communication and negotiation abilities. Knowledge of gold loan products and banking processes. Basic understanding of KYC and regulatory guidelines. Ability to work towards sales and collection targets. Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
