Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Factory supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our furniture manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, workforce management, quality control, inventory management, and ensuring timely completion of orders while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day factory operations and production activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within the scheduled timeline.

• Monitor the complete furniture manufacturing process, including cutting, carpentry, assembly, polishing, upholstery, and finishing.

• Allocate work to supervisors and workers and monitor their performance.

• Maintain product quality as per company standards.

• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage.

• Coordinate with the Purchase, Store, Sales, and Dispatch teams for smooth workflow.

• Maintain production records, daily reports, and machine utilization reports.

• Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

• Implement workplace safety measures and maintain discipline within the factory.

• Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished goods.

• Resolve production-related issues and improve operational efficiency.

• Train and guide workers on quality standards and production procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or any relevant field.

• Experience in furniture manufacturing is preferred.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience as a Factory Incharge, Production Supervisor, or Production Manager in the furniture manufacturing industry.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Knowledge of modular and wooden furniture manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of production planning and inventory management.

• Ability to handle production deadlines and manpower efficiently.

• Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.

Preferred Knowledge

• Woodworking machinery and tools.

• Plywood, MDF, Particle Board, Laminates, Veneers, and Hardware.

• ERP or production management software (preferred).

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and interview performance).
