Smart Caffeine is a functional wellness brand offering science-backed, clean-label caffeine-based products designed for focus, energy, and performance. Our product range includes caffeine supplements, nootropic blends, and energy shots targeted at urban professionals, students, and fitness enthusiasts. As we expand our retail presence across India, we are looking for passionate and driven sales professionals to take our brand directly to store shelves and consumers.
Role Summary
The Direct Sales Executive is a field-facing role responsible for driving visibility, sales, and distribution of Smart Caffeine products at retail outlets including pharmacies, gyms, modern trade stores, health & wellness stores, and convenience stores. You will be the brand ambassador on the ground — educating store staff, building relationships with retailers, and ensuring consistent product placement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets assigned by the Area Sales Manager.
• Actively pitch and sell Smart Caffeine products to store owners, managers, and procurement teams.
• Upsell and cross-sell the product range to maximise order value per outlet.
Retail Coverage & Distribution
• Cover an assigned beat plan of retail outlets daily (pharmacies, gyms, health stores, kirana + modern trade).
• Ensure availability and visibility of Smart Caffeine products in all covered outlets.
• Identify and onboard new retail accounts in the assigned territory.
Merchandising & Brand Visibility
• Execute in-store branding, shelf placement, and display setups as per brand guidelines.
• Ensure products are prominently placed, correctly priced, and well-stocked.
• Report competitor activity, pricing, and promotions directly to the Founder.
Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners, pharmacists, and floor staff.
• Conduct brief product demos and awareness sessions for store staff to aid secondary sell-through.
• Resolve retailer queries and complaints promptly.
Eligibility & Requirements
Education
• Minimum: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) passed. Graduate preferred.
Experience
• 0–2 years of field sales experience preferred.
• Prior experience in FMCG, pharma, health & wellness, or nutraceuticals is a strong advantage.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn are welcome.
Skills & Competencies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi and local language.
• Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven personality.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for reporting and navigation.
• Ability to walk/travel extensively across the assigned territory.
• Honest, reliable, and punctual with a positive attitude.
