Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Counsellor to join our team. The role involves guiding prospective students, handling enquiries, and supporting the admissions and marketing process. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a convincing attitude, and a passion for working in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Generate prospect enquiries through various channels such as calls, walk-ins, and referrals
Handle calling of prospect leads and follow up regularly
Perform data calling on leads provided by the institute
Counsel students and parents about courses, career opportunities, and institute offerings
Convert enquiries into admissions by effective counselling and relationship building
Participate actively in all marketing activities such as seminars, workshops, education fairs, and college visits
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the system/register
Coordinate with the academic and operations team for smooth onboarding of new students
Assist in achieving monthly admission and enquiry targets
Skills & Requirements
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office
Confident, persuasive, and result-oriented personality
Ability to handle students and parents in a professional manner
Freshers with good communication skills or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in education counselling/telecalling preferred
