Job Summary
We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executives for the marketing and sales of the complete range of SML and Mahindra Truck & Bus products. The candidate will be responsible for customer visits, lead generation, relationship development, vehicle demonstrations, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
The role requires extensive field activities, customer interaction, and market development to expand business opportunities and increase vehicle sales.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customers, transporters, fleet owners, contractors, institutions, and business establishments regularly for business development.
Promote and market the full range of SML and Mahindra Truck & Bus products.
Identify potential customers and generate new sales leads through field activities and market surveys.
Conduct product presentations and vehicle demonstrations to prospective customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into successful sales.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the management.
Maintain proper records of customer visits, enquiries, bookings, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with finance, insurance, RTO, and delivery teams for smooth vehicle delivery processes.
Collect market intelligence regarding competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
Participate in road shows, customer meets, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns.
Ensure customer satisfaction and support after-sales coordination whenever required.
Required Skills & Competencies
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer handling and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Knowledge of commercial vehicle sales will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with the local market and transport business segments.
Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / Higher Secondary (as per company requirement).
Experience: Experience in automobile/commercial vehicle sales preferred.
Freshers with strong marketing skills may also apply.
Must possess a valid driving licence.
