Civil Site Engineer – Job Description

Position: Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.

• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Check RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing work.

• Coordinate with contractors, labourers, architects, structural engineers, and vendors.

• Monitor site progress and maintain daily work reports.

• Check measurements and quantities of completed work for billing and BOQ.

• Ensure proper use of construction materials and minimize wastage.

• Follow safety rules and site procedures.

• Identify site issues and coordinate for timely solutions.

• Maintain records of materials, manpower, measurements, and progress.

• Assist in planning and completing work within the scheduled timeline.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel

• Understanding of civil construction and structural drawings

• Quantity estimation and measurement

• Site supervision and contractor coordination

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of construction safety and quality control

Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
