Job description: Partnership Manager
Role Overview - The Partnership Manager will be responsible for on boarding, managing, monitoring, and driving performance of Associate Partners across India. The role ensures partners are active, compliant, productive, and aligned with the Foundation’s scholarship programs and outreach objectives. This position plays a critical role in expanding the Foundation’s national footprint and ensuring effective partner-led execution of scholarship initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Associate Partner Onboarding • Identify, evaluate, and onboard Associate Partners across regions. • Conduct partner orientation, training, and program briefings. • Share MoUs, guidelines, project details, and compensation structures. • Ensure proper documentation and formal onboarding of partners. 2. Partner Management & Engagement • Act as the primary point of contact for all Associate Partners. • Maintain regular communication to ensure partners remain active and motivated. • Coordinate partner participation for each new scholarship or outreach project. • Ensure partners conduct school presentations, meetings, and student enrollment activities as assigned. 3. Monitoring & Performance Tracking • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly partner activities. • Track registrations, conversions, school onboarding, and follow-ups. • Maintain partner performance dashboards and MIS reports. • Identify inactive or underperforming partners and take corrective actions. 4. Project Assignment & Compliance • Assign projects to partners based on region, capacity, and performance. • Ensure partners comply with project guidelines, timelines, and ethical standards. • Confirm that only assigned and active partners receive enrollment attribution. • Enforce MoU clauses related to activity, reporting, and compensation eligibility. 5. Coordination & Internal Reporting • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, marketing, support). • Submit daily/weekly performance reports to management. • Provide feedback on partner challenges, field realities, and improvement areas. • Support leadership in strategy for partner expansion and optimization. 6. Conflict Resolution & Relationship Building • Address partner queries, disputes, and operational issues professionally. • Ensure transparency and fairness in enrollment attribution and payouts. • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with high-performing partners. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Number of active associate partners • Partner onboarding success rate • Partner-driven student registrations • School onboarding count • Partner retention & activity levels • Timely reporting and compliance Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory • Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Education, or related field • 3–6 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, affiliate programs, or NGO outreach • Strong communication and coordination skills • Experience managing commission-based or field partners • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, MIS reporting Preferred • Experience in education, scholarships, EdTech, CSR, or NGO sector • Pan-India partner or franchise management exposure • CRM tool experience Personal Attributes • Strong leadership and people management skills • Result-oriented and process-driven • Excellent follow-up and monitoring ability • Ethical, transparent, and firm in compliance matters • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
