Job description of BDM
• As a Business Development Manager, you are expected to be proficient in building relationships & achieving business objectives in the education/academic domain
• Your core role is to identify and generate business from existing/fresh accounts and establish contacts resulting in the sale of Intelligent Interactive Panels
• Generate pipeline and maintain a healthy funnel for the region.
• Achievement of set targets converging into the YoY targets of the company
• Create brand awareness in the territory and a chain of loyal customers
• Capacity to negotiate and close deals with the management of such institutions Your market All Educational institutions, by replacing conventional boards/Projectors with Interactive panels in classrooms. Any place where teaching is involved and/or collaboration amongst multiple locations are required, as in corporate boardrooms.
Qualification
• Close to 5 years of frontline experience in a sales role, preferably in the Indian education vertical • MBA in sales and marketing is preferred.
• Experience in managing a team of BDEs and delivering outstanding results.
• Worked closely with School management and knows their buying pattern
• Experience in hiring, training, mentorship, and leading talent
• Self-motivator with strong organizational and inter-personal skills; a great collaborator
• Highly organised: ability to multi-task, prioritise, lead and work under pressure.
• Pleasing personality with excellent communications skills
• Ability to deliver results on a deadline

Knowing couple of local languages of Indian states would be an added advantage
