Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) responsible for generating sales for elevators, escalators, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), modernization projects, and new installations. The role involves lead generation, client meetings, proposal preparation, and closing sales deals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue
Generate business for new elevator installations, AMC, and modernization projects.
Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
Build strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and industrial clients.
Lead Generation
Identify new clients through field visits, references, networking, and market mapping.
Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into sales opportunities.
The company will provide leads and client appointments, and the candidate must visit and meet clients to develop business.
Client Meetings & Proposals
Meet clients to understand requirements and explain product features and solutions.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, BOQ, and commercial terms.
Deliver product presentations when required.
Negotiation & Closing
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients.
Finalize orders with support from management and technical teams.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
Collect feedback and ensure smooth project coordination.
Market Insights
Study market trends, competitor pricing, and business opportunities.
Provide regular market updates and reports to management.
Qualifications
Any Graduate (MBA is not mandatory)
Freshers or candidates with sales experience can apply
Experience in the elevator/lift industry will be an added advantage
Skills Required
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confidence in meeting clients and presenting solutions
Ability to understand basic technical concepts
Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel for client meetings
