Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, dynamic, and result-oriented Academic Business Development Manager with a strong background in Education/EdTech Sales to build strategic partnerships with colleges and universities.
The ideal candidate should be highly professional, possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, and be capable of confidently engaging with Principals, Directors, Chairpersons, Trustees, and Management Teams to establish long-term institutional collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
Visit colleges and universities to promote ELEVEIIM's industry-focused programs.
Meet with Principals, Directors, Chairpersons, Trustees, and Management Teams to build strategic institutional partnerships.
Deliver compelling presentations and represent the organization with confidence and professionalism.
Identify new business opportunities and expand ELEVEIIM's institutional network.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key academic decision-makers.
Negotiate partnership proposals and successfully close institutional collaborations.
Achieve monthly and quarterly partnership and revenue targets.
Coordinate with internal academic and operations teams for seamless execution of partnered programs.
Maintain CRM records, meeting reports, and regular follow-ups.
Stay updated with higher education trends and emerging opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Education Sales, EdTech Sales, Academic Sales, Institutional Sales, or B2B Education Sales is mandatory.
Proven experience in building partnerships with colleges, universities, or educational institutions.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in leading EdTech companies, Higher Education organizations, Skill Development institutes, or Education Consulting firms. Candidates who have worked with organizations such as Byju's, PhysicsWallah, Unacademy, Vedantu, upGrad, NIIT, Simplilearn, CollegeDekho, Leverage Edu, Adda247, or similar organizations are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience in institutional tie-ups, college collaborations, university partnerships, or campus engagement will be an added advantage.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory.
Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
A confident, well-groomed personality with a professional appearance and the ability to make a strong first impression.
Exceptional public speaking skills and the confidence to present before senior academic leaders and large audiences.
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively for institutional visits.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
